Patricia sent photographs of her shades, with this message:

"Terrell: I just wanted to drop you a quick note of thanks for both your incredibly thorough on-line directoins, and your generous over-the-phone encouragement and support. Attached are photos of my latest project, the results of my second order with you. They are two Roman shades for two windows over the tub in my master bathroom, with a matching valance over the window in the attached WC. Your instructions make it so easy to complete the Roman shades with confidence. In particular, your tips on the various options for attaching the battens were extremely helpful. I have now used two different methods ("painting" on the glue for my first shade, anbd gluing to the lining for tthese, where even painting showed through the front of a sample piece of fabric), and they both worked great. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quick and easy it was to whip up a valance, with your instructions (piece of cake after a Roman shade!). I have already ordered the hardware for my office French doors and windows and my guest room window. I plan to attempt pieced shades in the office, so wish me luck.
