Galleries
Terrell Sundermann is a
fabric artist who listens to her practical side. Or perhaps, Terrell
justifies making beautiful items by turning them into functional window
treatments! Formally trained as an experimental physicist, yet naturally
gifted as an artist, Terrell truly loves the combination of art and function
of her pieced Roman shades. You can view her work here, which spans a
career (so far) of over 15 years.
The shades are grouped by complexity.
Some, in fact, are not at all complex.
So even if you are not a "quilter", you should view the galleries. Making a
Roman shade is as simple as making a pillowcase. Turning that shade into
fabric art can be as simple as sewing together squares and rectangles.
