Illusions Sample
Pieced Roman Shade Kit with Fabric [Item SKIF]
.
For the quilter or fabric
artist! This is an excellent way to
quickly learn every step involved in making a pieced Roman shade. You will
complete a SMALL (18" wide by 26" long) sample shade and have an
operating miniature window shade. You can refer back to this sample when you
make your own shades.
We've done the
math, cut the fabric and provided all of the hardware necessary to make
your sample. The specific front fabrics may differ from those in the
photograph above, but the Illusions design will be used. This is a
simple diamond block. We supply the outer borders, accent borders, and
rectangles for the interior design. All you do is cut the rectangles on
the diagonal, arrange the triangles into a pleasing pattern and sew the
front of the shade together.
All fabrics,
lining material, pulleys, battens, weight rod, mounting board, lift rings and cord, along
with complete instructions, are included. This is the Kit I use in my
popular 1-day Workshop "A
Crash Course in Pieced Roman Shades".
Kit contents:
precut front fabrics, Roc-lon Thermalsuede lining, battens, hook and
loop fastener, weight rod, mounting board, muslin to cover mounting
board, flat pulleys with screws, lift rings, lift cord and cord tassel.
Supply List needed
to complete kit: iron, sewing machine, thread to match front border
fabric, white thread, scissors, hem gauge; staple gun and 1/4"
staples, Philip's head screwdriver, awl or ice pick, hobby glue,
magazines (used as weights), matches.
I'm sure that some
of you are wondering about that Coupon Code. That is for teachers who
will be using the kit for a class that they are teaching. If also
applies to Quilt Fabric shops that are interested in selling the kits in
their store. If either of those descriptions applies to you,
please Contact Terrell for specifics.
